Accessibility
GatheredMind is committed to making its website and student planning tools usable by as many people as possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
Our target
We are working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our design and development target, while addressing the applicable Ontario accessibility requirements. Some third-party services, including authentication and payment pages, may be provided by external companies and may have their own accessibility features and support channels.
Current work
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators.
- Accessible labels and states for controls and forms.
- Accessible dialogs with keyboard focus management.
- Support for reduced motion and forced-colors settings.
- Accessible alternatives for file selection and drag-and-drop.
- Ongoing review of contrast, zoom, mobile layouts, and screen-reader behavior.
Feedback and accommodation
If you encounter a barrier, need an alternate format, or need an accommodation to use GatheredMind, contact gatheredmindapp@gmail.com. Please describe the page or feature, the barrier you encountered, and a way to contact you if a response is needed.
We will review accessibility feedback and respond as soon as reasonably possible. We will work with users to identify an accessible way to provide the information or service requested.
Third-party services
Clerk authentication, Stripe checkout, hosting, email, and other provider interfaces may be controlled by third parties. Contact us if a third-party step prevents you from completing an important GatheredMind workflow so we can help identify an alternative.
